Chess for kids holds to the same rules and regulations as it does for adults. Therefore it can be a confusing game and the rules can be hard to grasp and remember. It is important to find materials and resources that will make the process of learning chess fun and easy for kids. Resources that are available to help children learn chess include books, DVDs, and after school clubs. Many chess clubs and chess schools also exist that provide children with the opportunity to learn a challenging game that builds confidence and sportsmanship.
